Cornerstone Claims Adjusters, LLC, was founded by Clay Grigsby in the fall of 2021, with a goal of providing efficient and high-quality claims service.
Clay brings over 23 years of experience and has an excellent reputation in the industry for being knowledgeable, thorough, and fair in all he does.

Clay began his career in the auto estimating industry working in management with one of the nation’s largest body shop chains where he assisted in market research and the opening of two new shops as well as serving as a trouble shooter for shops that were under-performing.
He then began career as an adjuster in 1999, working with multi-lines in a very high-volume area.
For the past 15 years, Clay has worked as an auto appraiser for one of the largest auto insurers in the country.
He was chosen to mentor and train seasoned APD (Auto Property Damage) veterans on how to audit guaranteed repair facilities, diagnose auto damage, developed advanced estimate writing skills.
Clay has been invited to speak to liability claims groups about the auto claims process and share best practices for claims settlement.
He has served as an arbitration umpire for auto damage claims for arbitration forums.
Clay developed training curriculum on best methods for handling problem claims when the customer complains about the quality of repairs.

Alex is a full-time Independent Appraiser in Tampa, FL.
He received his Florida All-Lines Adjuster License in 2004 and has over 20 years of claims handling and vehicle estimating experience.

Alex specializes in appraising damage of all motorized land vehicles to include automobile, motorcycle, commercial truck and trailer, as well as recreational vehicles.
He began his career as a Field Safety Supervisor for a large transport company in 1994 where he learned to investigate all incidents, accidents, and injuries within his region. He was responsible for all safety related training, procedures, and policies for the company.
Alex worked with a national insurance company as a Commercial Auto Property Damage Team Leader and Multi-Lines Property Damage Claims Adjuster for 20 years.
He has worked with other national insurance companies as an APD Specialist III, and Senior APD Field Adjuster.
Alex became an Independent Licensed Auto Adjuster in January 2022 and continues to the present time.

Alex was awarded Claims Representative of the Month six times in two years (five months consecutively).
He has assisted in mentorship of new employees with respect to property damage assessment.
Alex has resolved auto claims as a single file ownership to include coverage and liability investigations.
He has resolved property damage claims from onset to final resolution.
